There are a lot of great craft shows happening around Alberta this weekend. It’s going to be a beautiful weekend and, with Mother’s Day on Sunday, you should definitely get out and visit one near you.
The Lac La Biche Farmers Market is on today from 3:30 to 5:30 and the Calgary Farmer’s Market (which starts on Thursdays) goes until 5 pm on Sunday. Don’t forget to check out the Strathcona Farmer’s Market in Edmonton if you’re in town on Saturday. Plenty of handmade goodies to find there!
The Off Centre Clay Symposium in Calgary that starts today and is on all day Saturday looks to be a lot of fun and the Edmonton Indie Handmade Market should be neat.
And, if you’re going to be downtown Edmonton definitely stop into the Mercer Collective, a super fun handmade market featuring people who make, bake, and create amazing things in Edmonton. When you’re done there, walk on over to the City Centre Market in City Hall for more handmade goodies.
